What kinds of things does advertising say are important to people? The ads about how young you can look n’ feel.
What does advertising say we want in our lives? To feel rich n’ beautiful.
What does it say makes us happy? Social things such as; love, romance, family ECT.
I think that some of the advertisements are way over done. I don’t believe that it works the way they say it does.

I agree - advertising has gone overboard. What measuring stick do people use for advertising? If life exists how advertising portrays it, there would be a lot more happy people. Half of things advertisers say we 'need', we already have.
